Last Christmas...

Last Christmas:
I was a different person.
I didn't stay up every night waiting for 11:11.
I didn't lay awake when everyone else in the house was asleep just so I could think.
I wasn't involved in drama. I didn't even know how extensive it could really get. It was a foreign concept to me.
I didn't know how much people do to get what they want.
I didn't realize how much someone can mean to you, without you even knowing it.
Life was easier.
I was afriad to be myself. Sometimes I still am, but I'm working on it.
Blogging was non-existant to me.
I was stuck in the world, and how people would see me.

This Christmas:
I stay up every night to make a wish at 11:11.
Thinking alone in my room at night happens every night.
Drama became a big part of my life....and it doesn't seem to want to leave, no matter how much I want it to go.
I learned that you have to trust someone, but you can't trust everyone.
Sometimes, one person can mean the world to you.
Being myself takes work, and courage. But it is much better than pretending.
I am learning to let go, and to not let people push me around.
And do you know what?
I am much happier.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas....

It is  A L M O S T here!
My plans for Christmas Eve?
They include...
1. Christmas Party at my grandma's
2. Eating a Candy Cane
3. Building a blanket fort in my sister's room
4. Staying up all night in that fort
5. Watching Anastasia (Because I do every Christmas Eve...at like 2 AM)
6. Playing Stratego (Because I also do this every Christmas Eve.)
7. Fawning over this guy:

Because who couldn't love Flynn Rider?
He is basically my favorite.

Sometimes...

Sometimes you just have to sit in the library and look through an encyclopedia laughing at all the funny animals for 40 min, with your best friend.

Sometimes you just have to sing a song at the top of you lungs in your house while everyone else is gone doing whatever it is that they might be doing.

Sometimes you just have to make a wish at 11:11, because you just know that this wish will definitely come true.

Sometimes you just have to lay in bed late at night, when everyone else is asleep and make wishes.

Sometimes you just have to go on an adventure, and end up making tulips out of legos.

Sometimes you just have to go to Wal-mart, and play sardines.

Sometimes you just have to wash the dishes in foods class, and end up blowing bubbles with the spatulas instead.

Sometimes you just have to do a random photo shoot while dressed up as ninjas.

Sometimes you have to live without caring what others might think.

My Life Is Average.

As in the website:

It is possibly one of my most favorite websites. Ever.
And today I found out....
ONE OF MY STORIES WAS PUBLISHED ON IT!!!
I kidd you not.
This is the story that was published:

Last night our doorbell rang. I answered it to see a black garbage bag with two feet sticking out the bottom. I stared for a moment, then it jumped up, and ran down the street. Confused? So am I. MLIA

That story right there? Completely true.
I just thought I would share the fantastic news, as
I have been trying to get a story published on there
 for quite a while now.
And I did it.

P.S. you should go to that website.
It is really great.
Maybe you can get a story published too.

"If this is what we get, then let's make the most of it."

I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving, with delicious turkey and other food.

I don't have much to say today, so here is some pictures from my massive collection for you to enjoy.

P.S. The title of my blog post is from the song Yesteryear by Rosi Golan. You should look it up.

Do You Want To Know Something?

I hate driving.
I love the Harry Potter series.
And in part with that sentence above,
I love British Accents.
I play guitar. Not very well, but I do play it.
My favorite M&Ms are the blue ones.
Drawing is my stress reliever.
I want to be famous one day.
By becoming a Fashion Designer.
I happen to love reading.
Movie nights are the best.
I love my friends.
And how we can play Apples to Apples for 2 and
a half hours straight. Without getting bored.
I wish he would hold my hand.
I  t h i n k  I  f e l l  i n  l o v e .

I Have One Thing To Say...

I really really want to watch Lizzie McGuire.
Why did they cancel that lovely show?

You Must Know the Feeling...

You know that feeling you get before Christmas?

When you just might explode from all the anticipation of waiting?

You feel like the day cannot come fast enough.

Well guess what?
That is how I feel about November 19th.

It can't come fast enough.

You want to know why?

I bought Harry Potter 7 tickets, and I. Cannot. Wait.

Let's Make Music

Yesterday, we made music.
On Garageband.
A fabulous program,
for fantastic making of music.
Two songs done,
10 more to go.
But we only have a week.
Actually 6 days.
Then he leaves for college.
Songs of Ferris Wheels, Robots, and
Glue.
Yes that may be what we write
about, but hey!
we are having fun!

{I Am Nothing But A Dreamer.}

Sometimes we all need to dream a little.
Whether it be day dreams,
or dreams while asleep,
or dreams about our future.
I dream about what I want my life to be.
I dream under the stars,
and in the rain.
I dream of peace,
and of becoming the person I was meant to be.
I dream of being successful,
of my ideas to be known.
I dream of taking the impossible,
and doing it.
I dream of falling in love.

The Tea Party Tomorrow....

Yes friends, that's right.
I am going to a
Tea Party!
But we aren't drinking real tea.
Just lemonade :)
One of my friends decided
that we should have one,
and dress up,
and talk with accents,
and eat little cookies.
I am SO EXCITED.
The highlight of my summer?
I think,
YES.
Another post coming soon
all about my first tea party
experiance :)

Someday...

{Someday,
everything will make perfect sense.
So for now,
laugh at the confusion,
smile through the tears,
and keep reminding yourself
that
everything happens for a
reason.}

I Went, I Came, I Had An Adventure....

I went to St. George and Cedar City this weekend, with my aunt, sister, mom, and grandma.
It was way fun.
We went to Tuacahn and saw Tarzan.
You should go.
It is freaking amazing.
And Tarzan was hot.
And freakishly strong. (In a super amazing way.)
Then we went to the Shakespeare Festival.
I suggest you go to Much Ado About Nothing.
And stay for the greenshow.
It was way good.
The greenshow was just a little show with dancing and singing.
Plus, it was Scottish night.
The fruit tarts and lollipops they sold were amazing.
The funny thing?
One of the actors/singers/dancers/comedians looked EXACTLY like my best friends older brother.
EXACTLY.
But it wasn't him.
We bought stuff at the gift shop, and saw Pride and Prejudice.
On our way home, we blew a tire, and had to pull off the road.
This truck came a few minutes later.
We freaked out, thinking it was some creeper.
But it turned out to be a couple, and thier adorable little girl.
And their cute dog.
He helped us change the tire, because we couldn't unscrew it.
He was really nice, and had battle scars.
Legitally.
They were bullet scars.
Pretty cool huh?
Finally, we got back in the car, and this other car pulled over.
It was a bunch of creepers, with tattoos, and skateboards.
So nice man who helped us, and stayed with us before we left,
THANK YOU.
I don't know who you are, or where you live, or if you are even reading this.
But THANKS!
It just proves there are some kind people out there who care.
P.S. If you haven't noticed already,
I changed the look of my blog.
So if you read earlier posts,
ignore the random red writing.
Pretend it's gray or something. :)
